Addie Alda Everhart Byerly, 88, of Haden Grove Church Road, died Friday, Feb. 15, 2008, at Silas Creek Manor in Winston-Salem.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Greer's Chapel United Methodist Church, where she was a member, by the Rev. Lori Anne Bowen. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Byerly was born in Davidson County on Nov. 18, 1919, to Robert Luther Everhart and Effie Everhart Everhart. She was a retired employee of Burlington Industries and was a member of the Fellowship Sunday School Class at Greer's Chapel. In addition to her parents, preceding her in death were her husband, Henry Odell Byerly Sr., two sisters, three brothers and a grandson, Craig Odell Byerly.

Surviving are a son, Henry Odell Byerly Jr. of the home; two daughters, Alice Hoadley and her husband, James, of Vineland, N.J., and Kitty Neely of Advance; 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
