Mrs. Ackerman, who was born in Potlatch, died Saturday.

She was married to Elvin Gosselin. They later divorced.

During World War II she operated a gas station in Potlatch and then worked at Wasson's Grocery store.

In 1946 she married Olaf Berge.

Mrs. Ackerman and her husband lived in Mecca, Calif., where they operated a gas station. She retired in the early 1970s.

Her husband preceded her in death.

In 1975 she returned to Potlatch and married Glen Ackerman. He died in 1989.

Mrs. Ackerman was a member of the Princeton, Idaho Women's Club, the Potlatch Senior Citizens, the Gritman Hospital Auxiliary, and the Potlatch Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include a son, Ramon Gosselin of Paso Robles, Calif.; a daughter, Carolyn Burrage of Moscow; two brothers, Burton Smith of Spokane and Stuart Smith of Edmonds, Wash.; a sister, Myrtle Colbert of Clarkston, Wash; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Potlatch Ambulance Fund, the Restoration of the Freeze Church Fund, or the Potlatch Senior citizens.
