Clara C. Amerson, age 68, died Sunday, February 17, 2008. Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Emmanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Ayers officiating. Burial will follow in Snow Hill Cemetery.
Ms. Amerson was a native of Wilkinson County but made her home in Milledgeville, She was retired from Robins Air Force Base. She was preceded in death by her parents R.C. and Jennie Smallwood Amerson and her sister Alma McMichael. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sister Inez Bearden of Griffin, two brothers Grover Amerson of Gordon and James Amerson of Mauk, three nieces; Cynthia Bearden, Denise Jones and Susan Seiberg and a number of other nieces and nephews.
