Richard James Gardner, 58 of Woodlawn, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at his residence. Mr. Gardner was born in Galax, Virginia to the late James and Betty Ayers Gardner. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Gardner.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 16, 2022, at Woodlawn United Methodist Church at 1:00 PM with Rev. Dina Clower officiating. In lieu of flowers, in honor of Ricky Gardner, donations can be made to Jake's college fund in c/o Joe Gardner, 189 Canterbury Lane, Woodlawn, VA 24381.
