Mr. William Grady Adamson Sr., age 90, of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022, at his home.
William was born on Tuesday, November 22,1932 in Morrow, Georgia, to the late Leonard Scott Adamson and Francis Peters Adamson. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Mae Hopkins Adamson, his second wife, Betty Jean Ogilvie Adamson; as well as four siblings. William proudly served his country in the United States Army and was very proud to be a Korean war veteran. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed doing yardwork and cleaning sticks out of his yard.
William is survived by his children; William Grady Adamson Jr., Timothy Dewitt Adamson, Cynthia Adamson Kinsler, and Joseph Scott Adamson, sister; Emily Montalvo, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Adamson will be held on Friday, December 16, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. in Breedlove Memorial Chapel with Reverend Chuck Scott and Pastor Darrell Corbin officiating. Following the funeral service, interment will be held at Morrow Cemetery from 1:30 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, December 15, 2022, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
