Paul E. Boyer, 74, of Desloge, Missouri, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2006 at his residence. He was born September 2, 1931 at Elvins, Missouri.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Boyer and Lucy "Eda" (Bourisaw) Boyer; also four brothers: Pete, Frank, James and Bernard Boyer; one grandson, Josh Nations.


He is survived by his wife, Glenda 'Daugherty' Boyer of Desloge; eight children: Teri Kinsey and fiancé, Billy Ragsdale of Farmington; Deborah and husband, Bill Mount of Leadwood; Toni and husband, Tom Turner of Hannibal; Angela and husband, Mark Nations of Ironton; Keith and wife, Angie Boyer of Farmington; Kevin and wife, Linda Boyer of Maryland Heights; Karon and husband, Robert Henderson of Neosho; Shelly and husband, Nolan Connell of Salem; one sister, Helen Stricklin of Park Hills. 21 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and several step-grandchildren. Also a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends survive.


Visitation: Monday at 5 p.m. at Horton-Wampler Funeral Home, Park Hills, Missouri. Service: Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Park Hills, with Father Jim French. Prayer service: Monday at 6 p.m.


Burial: Immaculate Conception Cemetery
