He had graduated from Bluestem High School in Leon. Chad also loved to hunt and fish. He married Nicole Houston in 1991 in El Dorado. Those he leaves include his wife Nikki of Latham; his children—Dakota, Cheyenne and Nevada Barnhart, all of Latham. His mother Peggy Tillman of Vassar, Ks; His father Dennis (Lee) Barnhart of Lyndon, Kansas; his step-father William Tillman of Long Island, NY; brothers—B. J. Tillman and his wife Joanna of Leon; Sgt. Willy Tillman and wife Toshia of Ft. Drum, N.Y.; a sister and her husband Crystal and Damon Crank of El Dorado; Grandparents—Ben and Gladys Streeter of Vassar, Ks; Ruth Barnhart of Osage City, KS; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Herb Barnhart, and a niece Alyssah Tillman.
