For many years, Mildred was an active member of the First Baptist Church, Eastern Star, the Eastern New Mexico Hospital Auxiliary and the Chaves County Assistance League. Mrs. Anderson also leaves behind many nieces and nephews of whom she was very close. Her nieces, Dianne Clees of Nipomo, Calif., and Jean Wride of Durango, Colo., were like daughters to Mildred. She was very proud of all of her nephews and is survived by Joe Dunlap of Glencoe, N.M., Royce (Lucky) Dunlap of Glencoe, N.M., Robert Dunlap of Williamsburg, John Dunlap of Williamsburg, N.M., John Dunlap of Williamsburg, N.M., Jackie Caulkin of Hereford, Ariz., and Marian Thornton of Vado, N.M.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful caretakers at Barton Hills Lodge and to Angel Heart Hospice of Austin, Texas, for their commitment, concern, and love of Mildred. Their devotion to Mildred's well-being and comfort are gifts that will never be forgotten.
