A Celebration of Life Service for Mary Jowers Anderson, 86, of Williston, SC will be held at five o'clock p.m., Tuesday, December 20, 2022 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC with the Reverends Tom Baker and Dan Fogle officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be given to Rosemary Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 409, Williston, SC. Mrs. Mary passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022.
Born in Williston, SC, she was a daughter of the late Perry Jowers and Gertrude Wall Jowers and was married to the late James B. Anderson, Sr. She was a member of Elko Baptist Church where she was in the WMU. She retired from Dixie-Narco in Quality Control.
Survivors include her daughters, Deborah Jones of Williston, SC and Libby (Kip) Busick of Elizabethton, TN; her son, Benji Anderson, Jr. of Williston, SC; grandchildren, Michael (Jamie) Jones, Arnie (Kaley) Jones, Ben Pachol, Jessica (Shane) Williams, Katherine (Tim) Perry, Daniel Anderson and Jacob Anderson (Lacy); great grandchildren, Mollie Jones, Maggie Jones, Merric Jones, Kash Jones, Cal Jones, Olivia Williams, Hannah Williams, T.J. Perry, Emma Perry, Leah Anderson and Brynn Anderson; sister, Anna Jowers Swindle of Barnwell, SC; brothers, David (Carolyn) Jowers of Williston and John (Patricia) Jowers of Marion, SC along with a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, James Anderson, Sr. she was preceded in death by her daughter, Dianne Anderson; her brother, Edward Jowers and her son-in-law, Steve Jones.
