PETER WAS MY GREAT GRANDFATHER. He was born in Denny Scotland. He grew up in Paisley, Scotland and moved to Milngavie. In 1889 he with his wife and nine children emigrated onboard the SS Austrian from Glasgow to Pawtucket Rhode Island via Boston. He was a skilled textile worker, being a master dyer.
