Mr. Burr died Thursday in the Sanderson Nursing home in Fayette where he had lived since last January. He formerly was a resident of the Gilboa community. Born June 17, 1862 in Seneca County, Ohio.
Mr. Burr was married to Phydelia Cline [sic 1890-divorced] who preceded him in death. [sic He was married to Amanda Rowe from 17 August 1899-6 August 1903]
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Bertha Hall of Oregon and one sister Mrs. Emma Ekleberry of Gilboa. The body will remain at the LaPoint funeral home until after services.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, in the LaPoint funeral home here, with the Rev. Andrew Ross of Gilboa in charge. Burial will be in Harman cemetery.
