Allen, Emma Jane age 77 of Lenoir City passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2000 at Loudon Hospital. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she was a member of the Helen Dutton Sunday School Class. A former school teacher at Highland Park Elementary School.
Preceded in death by her husband, James Clyde Allen; parents, John A. and Mae Fritts Bailey.
Survived by her daughter, Barbara J. Allen of Lenoir City; grandson, Derrick Allen of Lenoir City; brother, James Hugh Bailey and wife, Nellie of Greenback; sisters, Elizabeth B. Allen, Nelle B. Tuck and husband, Thomas L. Tuck Jr. all of Lenoir City.
Funeral services were held 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Click-Hawkins Chapel with Rev. Mike Gregory and Roger Brewster officiating.
Serving as pallbearers, Donald Reeves, Mike Strickland, Brandon Williams, John Tuck and James Bailey.
Family and friends will gather at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Click-Hawkins Chapel and proceed to Lenoir City Cemetery for graveside services at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
