Charlsie was raised in Maries County, Boone Township the daughter of James Henry Pendleton and Martha Elizabeth Roberds. She was the fourth of five children -a family which included four girls and one boy. Charlsie and J. Wilburn Green had one son, Frank D born in 1933 and who died in 1978 at the age of 35.J. Wilburn was 79 years of age when he died. Charlsie lived twenty more years and both are buried in Stokes Cemetery, Maries County, Missouri.
