She was born August 28, 1918 in Parkersburg a daughter of the late George Morlang and Mary Catherine Satow Greenburg. Mrs. Bloomer was a homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Hopewell Church of Christ.
Surviving are 2 daughters: June E. Phillips of Washington and Betty A. Cavanaugh of Lebanon, MO, a son Jack L. Bloomer of Washington, 10 grandchildren: Jeff Phillips, Darren Phillips, Shelley Whitlatch, Vic Bloomer, Rod Bloomer, Sally Bloomer, LynnWoodyard, Mike Cave, Kathleen Ingliss and Ryan Cavanaugh, 8 great grandchildren, a brother, Charles K. Greenburg of Mineral Wells and 2 sisters: Helen C. Wigal of Parkersburg and Mary Katherine Mays of Washington.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years William F. Bloomer, 2 sisters: Aileen Whitlatch and Madeline King, and 2 sons-in-law: Harold L. Phillips and James Cavanaugh.
Funeral services will be Wednesday 1:00 PM at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, Evangelists Andy Robison and Doug Petty officiating. Interment will follow at Hopewell Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 2-9PM and one hour prior to services.
