LAPPIN


Mrs. Jake (Laura Ann) Lappin, 90, of 555 S. Broadway died at 5:55 a.m. today in Decatur Memorial Hospital.


Services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday in J.J. Morans Funeral Chapel where friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday.


Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.


Mrs. Lappin was born in Pawnee, a daughter of John and Alice Scott Wolfe.


She moved to Decatur from Salem 50 years ago.


Mrs. Lappin was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.


She married Jake Lappin on Nov. 11, 1939, in Decatur. He died Dec. 14, 1957.


Surviving are sons, Delbert Poole of Sandwich, [Find A Grave Memorial# 95631111]; Readis "Pete" Poole of Lincoln; Norman Poole of Decatur; daughter, Mrs. Ida Fink of Decatur; 10 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.


Two brothers and four sisters preceded her in death.


The marriage to Jacob "Jake" Lappin was the third and final marriage for Laura Ann Wolfe.

Laura Ann Wolfe, Poole, Cowden, Lappin is buried in Graceland Cemetery, Decatur, Macon County, Illinois in Section J, Lot 315, Space 2, which is next to her daughter Ida Willoughby Poole Fink, and Ida's husband, John Fink.


Graceland Cemetery is located at 2091 North Oakland Avenue, Decatur, Illinois 62526.
