Funeral services were held from the Gloster Methodist Church Sunday afternoon with Revs. Allums and Price conducting the rites. Interment was in the City Cemetery.
Mr. Seale was a native of Franklin county, but had been a resident of the Gloster section of Amite county for the past 30 years. For many years he was a progressive farmer, but in recent years poor health incapacitated his activitiy. He was a man held in high esteem by all who knew him, and was a good citizen in every respect.
He is survived by his wife, who before her marriage, was a Miss Smith, from a prominent Franklin county family, four daughters and four sons: Mrs. Allen Miller, Destrehan, La.; Mrs. C. W. Jenkins, Birmingham, Ala.; Mrs. Sidney LaBlance, Texas City, Texas; Mrs. Tom Carnes, New Augusta, Miss.; Clarence Seale, Desraham, La.; Edward and Wallace Seale, Texas City, Texas; Billy Seale, Camp Shelby.
