Fern Marie Mitchell Allred, age 86, of Neola, died September 11, 1992 in the Duchesne County hospital in Roosevelt. She was born May 6, 1906 in Parley's Park, Utah to Daniel F. and Eliza Pace Mitchell. She married James Wesly Allred June 5, 1923. Solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple May 12, 1926. He died May 23, 1977. She is survived by sons, daughters, and their spouses., Orvis and Barbara Allred, Elva and Ken Ogden, Beth and Vic Brcko, all SLC, Aral W. and Elaine Allred, Logan, Helen and Norman Massey, Vernal, Howard (Dutch), and Maxine Allred, Dillon, Montana. Mona and Scott Nickell, Roosevelt; 25 grandchildren; sisters, Lois Duncan, Neola, Rhae and Leland Peterson, SLC, and son-in-law George Conn, and his present wife, Edna, of Duchesne. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Marie Conn, a sister, Amanda Henrie, and 5 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 16, 1992 at 11:00 a.m. at the Neola 1st Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Hullinger-Olpin Mortuary Tuesday 6-8 p.m. and at the church Wednesday one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Neola Cemetery.
