Hazel I. Brazeal 87, of Pleasant Hill, MO, was born August 16, 1913 in Thayer, MO, the daughter of Henry J. Trobaugh and Mary M. Switzer Trobaugh. She was married to Roy M. Brazeal June 22, 1929 at Thayer, MO. He died May 4, 1977. She lived in Thayer prior to moving to Kansas City in 1948. She lived in Pleasant Hill, MO since 1960.
She worked at the Pleasant Hill garment factory during the 1960's and was actibe member of the First Baptist Church of Pleasant Hill.
Survivors include one son Carl Brazeal and wife, Dorothy of Tatum, Texas; one daughter Barbara Durnell and husband Ronnie of Harrisonville, MO; one brother Walter Trobaugh of Thayer, MO; one sister Dorothy Miller of Pleasant Hill, MO; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her twin sisters Delsie Grooms and Elsie Braden and three brothers, Vivian, Earl, and Ernest Trobaugh.
Graveside services were May 3, 2001 at the Two Mile Cemetery at Thayer, MO with arrangement under the direction of Stanley and Son Funeral Home of Pleasant Hill, MO.
