Mr. Mason died Feb. 13, 2008, in a Tyler hospital.
He was born July 25, 1926, in Corsicana to the late John C. and Annie Taylor Mason. He served in the Navy during World War II and retired as a radio officer from Chevron Oil Co. after 20 years of service. He also owned and operated Country Flea Marker in Lindale for 20 years. He lived in Woodville prior to moving to Lindale in 1987.
Survivors include sons, Thomas Taylor "Tay" Mason Jr., Mabank, Tracy Scott Mason, Woodville, Timothy Edward Mason and Tony Randall Mason; daughter, Teri Elizabeth Mason, Tyler; sisters, Clara Edwards, Bridge City, and Opal Fox, North Carolina; and by four grandchildren.
Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
