Thomas Wayne "Skip" Clark, 60, of Midwest City died April 23, 2007 at Sweetbriar Nursing Center. He was born January 26, 1947 in Montreal, Canada to Rose and Thomas D. Clark.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where he played softball on the church team. He also coached his sons' little league baseball teams, took them on their after school and Saturday morning paper routes and enjoyed watching them wrestle as well as watching his daughter and his granddaughters dance. He attended as many of his granddaughter's soccer games as he could.

He loved to play the harmonica and bongos and watch football and movies.

He graduated from Midwest City High School and served four years in the U.S. Navy. He worked as an aircraft mechanic at Tinker Air Force Base in Midwest City for 17 years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Derwood Clark, a son, Jason Harland Clark and a brother, Robert Deni Clark. He is survived by a son, Clint Clark of Midwest City, a daughter, Kelli Clark of Midwest City, her mother, Rose Clark of Midwest City, two brothers, Gary Clark of Eufaula and John Clark of Midwest City and three granddaughters.

Funeral services were 2:00 p.m. April 28, 2007 at the Barnes and Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was at Kolb Cemetery.

Donations may be made to the Thomas Clark burial fund at Barnes and Johnson Funeral Home, 1820 S. Douglas Blvd., Midwest City, Oklahoma, 73130 to help defray funeral expenses.
