Herbert Henry Barber was a service casualty of WW2

Herbert was born in 1910, a sixth child of Frederick and Amelia Butler (nee Burlingham)and a brother to siblings Elsie, Louisa. Frederick, Amelia and John. The family lived in Blenheim Road Upper Holloway.

Herbert served his country in WW2 and served as Gunner 1107679 Royal Artillery, 69th Anti Tank Regiment.

In 1936 he married Florence Dorothy Burlingham and they had a daughter Janet who was born in 1937

He passed away aged 31 and was laid to rest at Islington cemetery on the 25th October 1941
