World War I Royal Air Corps Officer. The son of baritone opera singer David Bispham of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he had joined the Royal Air Corps previous to the United States entry into World War I. He was serving as a flying instructor when he was killed in an accident on November 4, 1917.
