Rites at Atkins for Frank Burkhart, 57
__ATKINS - Frank Walter Burkhart, 57, of Atkins, an employe of Wilson and Co. and a World War II veteran, died in a Cedar Rapids hospital Friday morning following a sudden illness.
__Born April 18, 1905, in Cedar Rapids, he married Oct. 5, 1945.
__Surviving, in addition to his wife, are five sons, Leonard, Joseph, Franklin, jr., Richard and Michael Burkhart, all of Atkins.
__Mr. Burkhart was a member of the Eagles club in Cedar Rapids.
__Services: Atkins Presbyterian church, 1:30 Monday. Burial: Linwood cemetery where military services will be conducted by the American Legion of Atkins. Friends may call at the Turner chapel in Cedar Rapids.
