OBITUARY:
Reuben Olmstead Rites August 4.
Funeral services will be held at the Clough-Barrick chapel Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock for Reuben Olmstead, retired carpenter, who died at his home at 1155 Colonial street. Interment is to be in the Pioneer cemetery. Dale March will officiate. Olmstead, a Salem resident for the past 40 years, was born at Quincy, Illinois, May 8, 1867.
Survivors include a son, Louis Olmstead of Salem; two brothers, Walter Olmstead of Centralia, Washington; and Clarence H. Olmstead of Dallas, Oregon; grandchildren, Mrs. Margaret Marsh of Sandy, Oregon, Mrs. Mary Warden, Lawrence Olmstead and Leonard Olmstead, all of Salem; and two great-grandchildren.
