Mrs. Martha Ann Lee Powell Ogle passed away in Portland at 5 p.m Friday afternoon, Nov. 14, in her ___ year.
Mrs. Ogle was born on the 2nd day of April, 1837, at Sweetwater, Menard county, Illinois. She was married to ___ Jacob Ogle on the 21st day of ____ 1856, at Columbus, Adams county, Illinois, and moved to Oregon with her husband and family in 1870, coming to Portland September 25 and Salem October 5 and settled on 160 acres three miles east of that city the ___same. The family moved to Woodburn in 1889, where they have resided with the exception of a time at Oakesdale, Wash., prior to the death of Mr. Ogle, which occurred June 1, 1911. Since the death of her husband Mrs. Ogle retained her home in Woodburn, but the last two years were spent in Portland and the previous. Deceased was a member of the M.E. church and was held in highest regard by many friends in this city. Surviving her are two sons, ___ L. Ogle of Woodburn and Dr. ___ O. Ogle of San Francisco, Calif., and three grandsons and one grand-daughter.Funeral services were held at the (newspaper torn off)
