Richard "Leon" Allen, age 75, passed away Monday, December 5, 2022 at his home near Clubb. He was born January 25, 1947 in Burbank, MO, the son of Elmo and Evelyn (Smith) Allen.
Leon was a long time resident of Wayne county and had worked as a logger. He was married to Ruby Waller May 26, 1967 at Clubb.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Elmo and Evelyn Allen and 2 young sisters, Marilyn Sue Allen and Louise May Allen.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Ruby Allen, of the home, 2 daughters, Sandy Slusher and her husband Bill, of Goldsboro, NC, Sheri Allen, of Jacksonville, AR, 1 sister, Lois Link and her husband Marshall, of Puxico, MO and 3 grandchildren, Seth Slusher and his wife Hollie, Brooke Dail and her husband Wesley, Jordan Hillis, along with many other family and friends.
