Linda Sue Snider, age 71, of Cassville, WI passed away unexpectedly on Saturday December 3, 2022, at the Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster, WI. She was born on September 27, 1951, in Beloit the daughter of George and Norma (Helser) Bown. Linda married Francis Laufenberg and after his untimely death, she was united in marriage to Ronald "Ronnie" Snider on October 6, 1973, at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bloomington.
Linda adored her family and loved supporting her grandchildren with all their activities. She looked forward to every Wednesday when she and Kathy would have a sister day. They would enjoy shopping, going out to eat, and just having each other's company. Linda also liked going for tractor rides, playing cards, games, dominoes, and was an avid Packer fan. Music was always an important part in Linda's life. She taught piano lessons and loved participating in the Lancaster Community Band playing her clarinet. She was also a supporter of the Beetown Blood Bank and was always willing to the help at the Beetown Polling Station. Linda's wonderful laugh and her dedication to her family, friends, and community will be cherished forever.
Linda is survived by her two children; Cory (Rhonda Baliff) Snider of Cassville, and Kurt (Julie White) Snider of Lancaster, seven grandchildren; Corrina, Tyler, Jenna, Luke, Christopher, Ashton, and Konner, sister Kathy Dubel of Lancaster, and brother and sisters-in-law; Larry (Ginny) Snider of Lancaster, and Calvin (Lisa Ellis) Snider of Lancaster, along with many special nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents George and Norma Bown, husband Ronnie on April 17, 2018, infant brother Terry Bown, and brother-in-law Leander Dubel.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 2:00-6:00 P.M. on Sunday afternoon December 11, 2022, at the Larson Family Funeral Home in Fennimore. Honoring the request of Linda, there will be no formal funeral service held in her honor. A Private family graveside service will be held at the Bloomington Cemetery in Bloomington, WI.
