David William Bowcutt returned home to his Heavenly Father on December 2, 2022. He was reunited with his enteral sweetheart, Barbara. He is survived by his siblings: Jay (Brenda), Doug, Sally (Roy), Beckie (Jack), children: Julie, Tom (Jamie), Melissa, Andrew and 9 grandchildren.

Dave was born on November 26, 1947 to William and Edith Bowcutt in Payson, Utah. He was the oldest of 5 children. He served in the Army during the Vietnam war. Dave and Barbara were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on August 5, 1978. He worked as a mechanic at UDOT for several years. For most of their married life they lived in Kearns, Utah. Dave spent his retired years lovingly caring for his daughter, Julie.

Dave loved to watch the Utah Jazz, Hallmark movies and John Wayne. He enjoyed drinking Diet Dr. Pepper, eating any type of sweets and making people laugh. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandpa and friend.

A viewing will be held for family and friends on December 9, 2022 from 10:00-10:45 AM in the Copperview First, Second, and Third Ward Building of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 12242 S. 2700 West in Riverton, Utah. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 AM at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah where he will be laid to rest next to his wife.
