Glenn Albert Blankenship, 87, of Sapulpa died Saturday, Nov. 4, 1995 at Pleasant Manor Nursing Home. Mr. Blankenship was born Jan. 28, 1908 in Sabo, Indian Territory, and had lived in Sapulpa for more than 80 years.
He was a steel worker and truck driver and had retired from Braden Steel Co.
Mr. Blankenship was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie, in 1971, and two children, Clifford Blankenship and Colors [Cloris] McCrackin.
Survivors include a daughter, Verna Knight of Sapulpa; a son, Glen F. Blankenship of Sapulpa; two sisters, Mary Allen and Norma Taylor, both of Sapulpa; six grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Green Hill Memorial Gardens with the Rev. John Hall officiating.
