Arthur E. Conkel, 86, of Springfield, Ohio, passed 8:15 p.m. Thursday, December 1, 2022, at Ohio Masonic Home, Springfield, Ohio.
Arthur was born May 14, 1936 in Beaver, Ohio, the son of the late Harlen Conkel and Jypsie (Carter) Conkel.
He is survived by two daughters, Tabitha Copley of Kingston, Ohio and Mitzi Fletcher and husband Miles of Longwood, Florida, four grandchildren, Jera Copley, Jace Copley, Mila Fletcher and Maison Fletcher, and a sister, Irene Jenkins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, William Thomas Conkel and Ray Conkel, and three sisters, May Conkel, Alene Conkel and Dorothy Gibson.
Arthur was a retired Quality Control Inspector for Buckeye Steel, Columbus, Ohio. He was a member of the Lockbourne Masonic Lodge F&AM #232 and Scottish Rite, Valley of Columbus.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 10, 2022 at the Boyer Funeral Home, Waverly, Ohio with Chaplin Harry Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Omega Cemetery, Waverly, Ohio. Masonic service will be held at 12:00 noon preformed by the Lockbourne Masonic Lodge #232. Boyer Funeral Home
