Bernard Samuel Berghoff, 97, of Tallahassee died Saturday. No services are planned. A native of Wellsboro, W. Va., he lived in South Port, N.C., before moving to Tallahassee in 1998. He was the Auditor General for the State of Pennsylvania. He was a 32 degree Mason, a member of the Scottish Rite and a member of First Presbyterian Church in South Port. He is survived by a son, Lee Berghoff of Tallahassee; a daughter, Betty Lou Schreckengost of Auburn, Pa.; two sisters, Kathryn Sheets of Wheeling, W. Va.; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. (Beggs Funeral Home, Apalachee Chapel, 942-2929.)
