He is survived by daughter Angela (Nick) Moody; grandchildren, Alicia, Ben, and Anna; sister, Sharlene (Jim) Clark; and nieces and nephews, Shelli, Kevin, and Stephanie.
David is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Karen Lane; and Aunt, Novella "Snooks" Parker.
David loved music; he enjoyed playing the guitar and owned many. He enjoyed gardening, tinkering on cars, and he loved his family. He especially loved spending holidays with the family. David had a big personality and was always fun to be around. He will be dearly missed by his family.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 2, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834. Officiating will be Pastor Kenneth Jones. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park in Danville. Visitation will be held just prior to the service from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
