Barbara Cockrill, 80, of Irving, Texas, formerly of Satin, Texas passed away September 1, 2013 in her home. She was born January 25, 1933 in Waco, Texas.
Preceded in death by her husband, Charles Cockrill, parents, Reuben and Selma (Guderian) Collins, three brothers, Tommy, Charles and Tye Collins and sister, Gilda (Collins) Johnson.
Barbara graduated in 1949 from Chilton High School. She then went on to attend business school in Dallas, Texas. She worked as an executive secretary until retirement in 1982. She enjoyed playing tennis, bowling, traveling, cooking and playing the slots. Above all she enjoyed spending time with her family the most.
Survived by her brother, Wayne Collins, son, Steve Milford, daughter, Shari Griffin, grand daughter and great-grand children and other extended family and friends.
Graveside services will be held September 21, 2013 at Restland in Dallas, Texas...RFH
