Graveside services by Blanco Masonic Lodge were scheduled for 11:30 a.m. today in Sunset Cemetery for Verner A. Simons late resident of Oakland, Calif., who died Thursday in Oakland.
The body was brought to North Bend by chartered plance this morning.
Mr. Simons was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Kansas City, Mo. His wife, Edna, died here in 1941 and is buried in Sunset cemetery.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. James Gorecki of Oakland.
The Mills Funeral home handled local arrangements.
