Alexander G Howison was born in Prince WIlliam Co Virginia to Alexander Howison and Anne Garland Morgan. He was one of seven children. He came to Campbell Co Kentucky some time in 1834 is the earliest tax record of him. He married Harriet Griffing who was a widow, her maidan name was Moore. Her father was WIlliam Moore her mother was Nancy Bates. Their land was on the Ohio river in Campbell Co. Nancy passed away before 1853. Her mother's will does not name her only her grandchildren. Alex and the family move to Pendelton Co mid 1850's till he passes in 1890. EE Barton papers has him buried at this cemetery. I believe with his son John Howison. His daughter Nancy Loomis is buried here with her husband Tom Loomis.
