Janice "Cinnamon" Steen Fahey lived a fabulous life! She debuted in Port Arthur Texas, March 6, 1946. Cinnamon hit the stage at age six. She became lead baton twirler and drum majorette in high school and college. She followed her dream to Las Vegas in 1969, where she enjoyed an award-winning career. She joined the Al Bello Show, Ron Lewis' cast of "Bare Touch of Vegas," and the "Sahara Girls." Cinnamon choreographed and starred in her show, "Five Shameless Hussies" at the Maxim and Hacienda. Cinnamon went to Vietnam with Sammy Davis Jr.'s 1972 USO Review Troupe. She earned a Certificate of Esteem from the U.S. Secretary of Defense for her service. Cinnamon appeared on Johnny Carson's show and she performed a world tour with Isaac Hayes. Cinnamon won "Las Vegas Ensemble Girl of Year" twice. Bob Hope presented the awards. Cinnamon collaborated with Ron Lewis, choreographing a Christmas special for her friend, Liza Minnelli. Cinnamon sang and played in her all-girl band. After a courageous six-year battle with cancer, God's final curtain call came Monday, July 15, 2013. She is survived by her son, Zack; brother, Jim Steen; sister, Barbara Mouton; and her loving partner, Tom Kresky. Cinnamon will be dearly missed by loving friends and family.
