Ellen Addy DeGooyer Our Beloved Mother Ellen was born September 19, 1920 to Cleo (Potts) Addy and Leonard Addy in Coleville, Utah. She graduated from Park City High School class of 1939. Ellen worked many years in the printing industry; Utah Bank Note, Co., Deseret Press, Paragon Press, Salt Lake City, Utah. Married Richard DeGooyer Sr., 1946 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Together they had a unique bonding. Printing was their livelihood and enjoying the Utah Mountains together with their friends and family is what they loved most. Preceded in death by her parents, sister; Irene, brother; Edwin, husband; Richard, grandchild, Erica Star Snyder. Ellen is survived by her daughter; Mary Ellen (George) Hartnell, Washington State, son; Richard Jr., grandchildren; Joseph (Shayla) DeGooyer, James (Monica) DeGooyer, Richard Hartnell, Kelsea Hartnell, Jason, Jessica, Justin DeGooyer, great-grandchildren; Skyler, Sunny, Zachery, Ethan DeGooyer, adopted daughter Lora (David) Richardson and son, Denton. Special thank you to all the staff at Highland Cove Retirement, Christian Maria Center, Legacy House of Taylorsville, Care Source, St. Marks Hospital, Jordan Valley Hospital, Alzheimer's Association Utah Chapter and Hospice of Utah. Services will be held at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Chapel, 3401 S. Highland Drive, Salt Lake City on Saturday, January 19, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. A viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday evening and also one hour prior to the funeral.
