Rites Held May 28

Funeral services for Mrs Gertrude E. O'Briant, 91, of Route 1, Binger, wre held at 2 p.m. Friday May 28 in the Sickles Community Church with Rev Jake Hicks, pastor, officiating. Burial was in the Sickles Cemetery under direcion of the Gradd Funeral Home of Binger.

Mrs O'Briant was born in Hutchinson, Kansas, October 5, 1884. She died May 25 at Silvercrest manor in Anadarko. She was married to David O'Briant January 2, 1906 in Hutchinson. They moved to the Lookeba area in 1912 and a few months later moved to a farm west of Binger.

Mr O'Briant preceded her in death in January, 1956. She was also preceded in death by an infant son.

Survivors include five sons: Ray of Chickasha, Chester and Walter, both of Anadarko, Carl of Clinton, Md; and J E (Buddy) of Binger; four daughters, Mrs Orville (Mildred) Kirksey and Mrs G W (Thelma) Opitz, both of Chichasha; Mrs William (Marie) Lanier of Lookeba; and Mrs William (Grace) Wildey of Oklahoma City; 18 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren.
