FARMINGTON - Lindel Edward Gore of Farmington passed away on November 16, 2007, at Parkland Health Center at the age of 59 years. He was born on January 22, 1948, at Ste. Genevieve, the son of the late Sammie Ray and Edna
Bernice (Stroup) Gore. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Henry Gore.

Mr. Gore was a long-time resident of this area, where he owned and operated the AA Carberator Shop in Farmington. He served his nation during the Vietnam War with the U. S. Navy.

He is survived by his fiance, Tamara Svaboda, two sons, Lindell Gore II and wife Jo Ellen of Ste. Genevieve and Sammie Gore of Farmington, a daughter, Chastidy Snider of Farmington, a step-daughter, Elizabeth Hamlett of Bonne
Terre, a step-son, Timothy Gore of Farmington, four grandchildren, Kayla, James, Nikki and Dezi, a great-grandchild, three step-grandchildren, Andy, Doug, and Hailey, five brothers, John (Connie) Gore and Gary (Pat) Gore all of Ste. Genevieve, Cecil (Diana) Gore of Farmington, Roger Gore of the state of Florida, and Larry (Carol) Gore of Ironton, two sisters, Vesta Moon of
St. Charles and Brenda (Mrs. Mark) Beard of Ste. Genevieve. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive.

Friends may call at the Cozean Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 from 5 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 21 at 6 p.m. at the Cozean Chapel with the Rev. David Mills officiating. Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the National Association of Downs Syndrome.
