George Frank Forrest, 87, of Mt. Pleasant, SC, died, Monday, November 13, 2017.

He was born on June 1, 1930 in Seattle, Washington to the late George F. Forrest, Sr. and the late Marie Topic Forrest.

George was an Army Veteran, graduated from Seattle University, and then pursued a lifetime career in the Manufacturing Industry. He was an avid golfer, loved camping and spending time with his family. George will be remembered as a loving son, brother, husband, father and grandfather.

He was survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Joan S. Forrest, of Mt. Pleasant, SC; sons, Steven Forrest and Tracy Forrest; step-son, Steven MacDonald; step-daughter, Pamela Horwitt; and two granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Gloria Forrest; and one son, Michael Forrest.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and extended family at Franke at Seaside Active Lifestyle Community. He was resident at Franke at Seaside for over 14 years and dearly loved the friends and family who made each day a memory.
