MUNCIE - Beverly Sue Ammon, 87, passed away peacefully Saturday evening, September 27, 2014 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
She was born on August 26, 1927 in Muncie the daughter of Ted and Adeline (Short) Lindsey.
She attended Muncie Central High School, and enjoyed reading.
Surviving are two daughters, Sherrie Flannery (husband, Curt), Farmland and Cathy Cantrell (husband, Dan), Pendleton; three grandchildren, Tracy Rogers, Michael Cantrell (wife, Christine), and Craig Cantrell; two step-great-grandchildren, Gage and Raven; two sisters, Gloria Campbell (husband, Johnny), Muncie and Nancy Coon, Indianapolis; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of sixty-five years, Gene Ammon; a brother, James Lindsey; and a sister, Rosalind Engelbrecht.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel with Dan Cantrell officiating. Cremation will follow.
Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Thursday at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel.
