Wilma Faye Friga, 83, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at Ratliff Care Center.
She was born Feb. 22, 1926, at Diehlstadt, Mo., daughter of William A. and Nada Ellen English Anderson. She and Stephen Friga were married Feb. 22, 1961. He died Jan. 22, 1990.
She retired as a secretary from GAB Insurance in Cape Girardeau. She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral and Chaffee Lady Elks Lodge 1810.
Survivors include a sister, Mary Ann Baker of Cape Girardeau; four nieces and nephews, Deborah Naeter of Cape Girardeau, Mary E. Fegrman of Washington, D.C., Joe Bob Baker of Jackson and Chuck Winder of Foreside, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Visitation will be from noon to service time Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, Mo.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Normand Varone officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens near Morley, Mo.
