Roy served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was loving, generous and had a heart of gold. He loved his family and treated his nieces and nephews as if they were his own. He loved animals especially dogs.
Roy was loved by many and will be greatly missed by everyone that he left behind.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Ruth Holt; half siblings, Virginia (Joseph) Boggan, James (Julia) Holt, and Mary Alice (Eugene) Daniels; and nephew, Michael Moore.
Roy is survived by is his sisters, Ruth Ann (Travis) Moore, Marlene (Bob) Benton, and Margie (James) Thompson; 9 nieces, 3 nephews, and numerous great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A graveside memorial to celebrate the life of Roy Holt is to be conducted at one o'clock in the afternoon, on Saturday, the 19th day of November 2022, at Guiceland Cemetery, 4075 Anderson County Road 174 Grapeland, Texas.
