Mr Jackson was born in Union County, Mississippi, on Oct 31, 1932 and was the son of the late James Oscar and Lula Stack Jackson. He lived at Ingomar, Ms until moving to Memphis, TN with his parents in 1944. He was preceded in death by three brothers, J.T., Cessel, and Greer Jackson.
Services were held Tuesday, November 8 in Greenwood Cemetery in Dunn, NC. Skinner Funeral home of Dunn was in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include one Daughter, Kris Jackson of Buies Creek, NC, two sons, Russell Jackson of Red Bay, AL and Steve Jackson of Memphis; one sister, Maxine Albright of Memphis.
