Barb was born Aug 10, 1937 in McConnell, IL the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russell and Kathryn (Price) Rockey. She graduated from Orangeville High School the class of 1955. Barb married Floyd "Dobby" Anderson in Pecatonica, IL on December 25, 1968. Barb and her parents owned Rockey's Cafe in Pecatonica, IL for over 29 years closing in July of 1988. She went on to cook at various places, retiring from Third Street Station in Pecatonica, IL in 2014. Member of the Pecatonica Lions Club, Past President of the Pec Fans Club, McConnell Historical Society, Card Club in Pecatonica, was an in home care giver to many of her elderly friends and family, was an avid sports fan from Pee Wee League to Green Bay Packers. Barb loved watching her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren participate in all activities. Barb was to known to always make friends easily and continually checking in with her many friends. She also enjoyed watching all her "adopted" grandchildren as well who lovingly referred to her as Grandma Barb. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, Crypto Quote, Embroidering and collecting Green Bay Packer memorabilia, thimbles, beanie babies, salt sellers.
Survivors include daughters Deb (Dean) Runte, Darla (Jason) Stram; grandchildren Kayla (Kyle) Nolen, Jared, Tanner Runte; great grandchildren Madden, Bekhym, Maklyn; Step son James Anderson and children Denise, Brenda, Brian, Renee, Ryan; step daughter Jean Ann Oppergard and her children Jodi, and Susan; Daughter Pamela (Greg) Blume and her three children; numerous great and great great grandchildren; siblings Roy, Roberta, Carlos and Shirley; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, husband, grandsons Devin, Greg.
