Retired I.B.E.W. Local #485 AIKEN, S.C. - Entered into rest on Sunday, February 10, 2008, Mr. Joe M. Coleman, beloved husband of Mrs. Joann Hair Coleman, of 1018 Bransome Blvd., Aiken, SC. Mr. Coleman was born in Stillmore, Ga. to the late J. B. and Lausie Lee Slater Coleman. He was a United States Navy Veteran. Joe was a retired power lineman with I.B.E.W. Local #485, Columbia, S.C. with 28 years of service. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, Belvedere, S.C. and the Horse Creek Masonic Lodge #174, A.F.M. Surviving with his wife Joann are three children, Carolyn Oster (Michael), Mark Eubanks (Leigh), and Ricky Eubanks (Sandy), all of Aiken, S.C.; a sister, Jane Walker (Steve), Lewisburg, Tenn.; two brothers, Jimmy Coleman (Alda) and Johnny Coleman, all of North Augusta, S.C.; five grandchildren, Sean Oster, Matthew Oster, Tanja Owens, Cole Eubanks and Baylen Eubanks; two devoted friends, Roosevelt Crawford, Aiken, S.C. and Keith Slater, Stillmore, Ga. Funeral services will be on Wednesday at 2 o'clock at Friendship Baptist Church with Revs. Heyward Horton and Wayne Todd officiating. Mr. Coleman will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Bath, S.C. Pallbearers will be Eddie Cumbee, David Dupriest, Joe Stutts, John Wood, Berley Birchmore, Marty Bryant and Todd Horton. Friends may call at the residence of Jimmy Coleman, 102 Forest Dr., North Augusta, SC or on Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 at Hatcher Funeral Home, U.S. Hwy. No. 1, Langley, SC.
