Donna Diane Carpenter, 75, of Huntsville, passed away November 18, 2022. Donna was born in Bogalusa, LA to Warren Elvin Bevan and Elizabeth Betty Bevan. Upon completion of high school, she moved to Huntsville, AL to pursue an education in business. After graduating, she was hired by Boeing as an executive administrative assistant where she would stay for the next 30 years, supporting several unique programs from missile defense to space. During her time there, she made lifelong friends and received many accolades for her hard work. But to Donna, her greatest achievements were her two sons whom she loved dearly.

Shortly after moving to Huntsville, she met the love of her life, and they were married in November 1973.

Donna was very passionate about Alabama football. When she was not filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found every Saturday in the fall cheering on her favorite team. She loved nature, watching the birds and squirrels in her backyard feeders, and would take her beloved dogs on walks daily. Upon her retirement, she began volunteering at Crestwood Medical Center and Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Donna was very thoughtful of her family and friends. She never missed a special date, and she always tried to make everyone feel special.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband, William Lee Carpenter, and her parents.
