Lorna Bills, 70, of Connersville, died Saturday, June 14, 2003, at her residence.

Born May 3, 1933, in Rushville, she was the daughter of Raymond and Ida Louise (Alexander) Glover, both deceased. On Dec. 19, 1959, she married Alfred Bills Sr., he preceded her in death.

Mrs. Bills was a homemaker. She had lived most of her life in Rushville, moving to Connersville in 1999. She was a member of the Rushville Church of God, and was an active horseshoe pitcher while living in Rushville.

Survivors include three sons, John Wagner Jr. and Lawrence Wagner, both of Arizona, and Alfred Bills Jr. (and wife Bonnie) of Rushville; two daughters, Barb (Mrs. Tommie) Frye of Arizona, and Lorna (Mrs. Jimmy) Frye of Connersville; one sister, Helen Jarboe of Rushville; eight grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter and one brother.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Moster & Cox Mortuary in Rushville, with Brother Larry Callahan officiating.

Burial will follow in Layton Cemetery in Rush County.

Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Tuesday at the mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
