Patricia Ann Godfrey, age 84, passed away on November 16, 2022 in Columbus, Texas. She was born on May 18, 1938 in Amherst, Maine to Martin and Mildred (Treadwell) Fletcher. She married Philip J. Godfrey, Jr. on February 2, 1957.
Patricia grew up in Amherst, Maine. After marriage, she worked as a preschool teacher at the Homestead Air Force Base in Florida where her husband was based. In her free time, she enjoyed communicating with family and friends, crocheting and reading. Her favorite things were camping with family, enjoying her many cats and being a preschool teacher. She will be most remembered for her bright blue eyes, her laugh and great humor.
Patricia was preceded in death by: her parents, Martin and Mildred Fletcher and husband, Philip Godfrey, Jr.
Patricia is survived by: daughter, Diane Welch and husband Donald of Alleyton, TX; sons, Mark Godfrey and wife Brenda of Lake City, FL, James Godfrey of North Key Largo, FL and Philip Godfrey, III and wife Janeen of Clearwater, FL; grandchildren, Ronald Nolan, Christie Deorbegoso, Coleby, Elaine Feldman, Alayshia Godfrey, Jayden Godfrey, Gabriel Godfrey and Ayreonna Godfrey; and five great grandchildren.
