He was the son of Willie B. and Florina Alls Farmer. He moved to Hartshorne from Los Angeles, California in the 1970's and was an auto mechanic/machinist. He passed away at McAlester Regional Health Center at the age of 77. He was the father of Odis B Farmer, Jr., Gary Wayne Farmer, both living in CA, Rachel Louise Gray of CA, Florann Grisby of WV, Bertha Leneal Chance and Lois Jean Shaffer, both of CA, Doris Fay Duncan of OK, Velma Nara Waller of CA, Joyce L. Stewart of TX and Pamela Raye Gay of CA. He was the brother of Hurshel L. Farmer of AR and Raye Standridge of Hartshorne.
